As reported in the Washington Post, student climate activists at Vanderbilt, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, and MIT have filed legal complaints arguing their colleges’ fossil fuel investments violate the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act, which requires universities to put their resources to socially beneficial ends.
