The Zimbabwe Alliance was formed in 2010 to strengthen the role of civil society in influencing Zimbabwe’s transition to democracy. Over a decade later, the Zim Alliance continues to support citizen-centered solutions working to strengthen democratic, socioeconomic, and climate justice through campaigning, political education, and movement building. Following the government’s lackluster response to COVID-19, The Zim Alliance moved swiftly to support mutual aid networks that were lifelines to marginalized communities struggling to access food, water, and sanitation.
