The Life After Coal Coalition is an environmental campaign pushing back against back against fossil-fuel expansion. Comprised of our grantees, Groundwork Trust, Centre for Environmental Rights, and EarthLife Africa, The Life After Coal Coalition released comments on the South African Government’s Integrated Resource Plan to tackle the nation’s energy crisis. They have called out the plan for supporting fossil fuel based energy generation which will only further exacerbates energy poverty in South Africa.
